Today I saw my grandpa again to finish up his right quadrants. I was able to get him numb. I finally got the right angulation on the PSA on the first try. (Yeah!) The only bad thing I did was that my angle collapsed as I was injecting but it's still an improvement. I then saw my class 2 exam this afternoon. I've decided that class 2s are the hardest for me. You would think that a class 3 would be harder because of the bone loss. Class 2s are harder for me because the tissue is a lot tighter. That is something that I need to work on.

Today I saw my grandpa who was a class three last year. He was still a class three this year. I was glad because I needed to pass off an exam at WSU for a class 3 but I was sad that he didn't take my advice to brush twice a day and floss once a day. He did start flossing once a week thought, so that's somewhat of an improvement. In the afternoon my class 2 pt cancelled, so I got lucky and called a lady that could come in imediately. She was only a class 5 though but I was able to pass off my subgingival irrigation PE.

Today: We had a lab in the morning. One of the things we learned was wheelchair transfer. I had a lot of experience with that this weekend because my brother broke his femer. I guess on a scale of one to ten, it's supposed to be a ten. He got his leg opperated on. The surgeon put a metal plate in his leg and screws. When I had to help tranfer him into the wheelchair, it is a very slow process because every movement huts him. He's only ten years old. I thought it was ironic that we did it today.
